– Feb. 28 — Symposium decisions announced

– Mar. 15 — Open Talk and Poster abstracts due

– Mar. 30 — Abstract decisions announced

– May 15 — Regular registration deadline

– Late May — PDFs for the poster book are due

– June 15 — Late registration deadline (no on-site registration!)

– June 23-26 — ICPA Omaha!

Dear ISEP member:

  I’m delighted to announce that the website for ICPA 2026, June 23-26 in Omaha, Nebraska, is now live: https://icpa2026omaha.com/  There you will find the Call for Symposium Proposals (due Feb. 15), the Call for Abstracts (due Mar. 15), as well as information about registration, hotels, and the venue at the Omaha Zoo and Aquarium.  Start thinking about your symposium and poster ideas now!  I urge you to register as soon as you can (to help fund meeting expenses) and reserve a hotel room early (they fill up in the summer).

  I especially want to encourage international members to come to Omaha.  I understand that some may have doubts about the current political situation, but that makes open scientific exchange across borders all the more important.  ICPA is the main site of ecological discussion, collaboration, and new ideas among researchers and students from all parts of the globe.  I hope you will join us and keep the scientific light burning bright.
